WE have refought Blenheim several times, using slightly different ratios for battalions and squadrons as our armies for the period have grown. The final scaled version of the game is included in the downloadable scenario.
This post has been published to support the scenario, providing further images and video clips to aid deployment.

The above two images show the layout of our battle on a 8′ x 4′ table. The Danube and Blenheim are at the top of the pictures.

After these photo’s were taken, we got excited and focused on our game, forgetting to take any more!
However, the game panned out as the battle did historically. Eugene was fought to a standstill, Cutts eventually worked his way into Blenheim, drawing in the French reserve stationed behind the village, while the allied centre under Marlborough and Churchill broke the French right-centre, including the elite French Royal cavalry, sending them retreating towards the Danube.
French Endeavour reached zero with two full turns and a twilight turn remaining before nightfall. Huzzah!
